Beach Party Time!!!!
The Shepherd’s Center of W-S celebrates the month of May, Older American’s Month, with a Beach Party!!!
May 19, 2017 – 7 – 9pm – Fun Friday Concert with the Invaders and a Beach Party!!!
You’ll want to pull your favorite Hawaiian shirt out of mothballs for this one!
The Invaders rock all over the Piedmont, winning new fans at every event and were twice named the Best Band in the Winston-Salem Readers’ Choice Awards.
Join us at the Shepherd’s Center’s upper level for an evening of your favorite Rock N Roll, Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Beach, blues, boogie, soul & country!!!
We will have prizes for:
Ø the best Hawaiian shirt
Ø the best dance moves
Ø the lowest limbo, and
Ø the most leighs!!!
The dance floor will have your name on it, so don’t be shy!
Lite refreshments will be served.
Cost is $10. You may pay at the door, but space is limited. Stop by the center at 1700 Ebert Street to prepay and guarantee your space. Concert will be limited to the first 100 paying customers.
The Shepherd’s Center of Greater Winston Salem promotes and supports successful aging by providing direct services, volunteer opportunities, and enrichment programs for older adults. Many Vital Living Programs for health and wellness are provided at low cost or no charge for anyone age 50 and over.
