Hospice of Davidson County Announces 11th Annual Ride for Angels

LEXINGTON, N.C. – (June 25, 2018) – Hospice of Davidson County will host its 11th Annual Hospice of Davidson County Ride For Angels Saturday, July 14. The 75-mile motorcycle ride, which winds through Davidson County, will depart at 11 a.m. from Denton Farm Park, located at 1072 Cranford Rd, Denton, N.C. Since 2008, the Ride For Angels event has raised more than $175,000. Proceeds are designated for the compassionate care and grief support of the agency’s patients and families facing a life-limiting illness. 1,500 Martial Arts Students Set Goal to Raise $30,000 for other kids in need

On June 9th, tae kwon do students from Clemmons, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and High Point will be coming together for a Board-Break-A-thon at Forsyth Country Day School. The event is called Kicking for Miracles and this is the 13th year that Tiger Kim’s World Class Tae Kwon Do has sponsored such an event for the community. So far, over 13 years, students from Tiger Kim’s have been able to raise over $177,000.
