  Winston-Salem, N.C. – The Carolina Thunderbirds dropped points for the first time in 2018-19 as the Danville Dashers win on Saturday night 2-1.   The Thunderbirds jumped onto the scoreboard early in this one when CJ Blaszka picked up his first of the season sending one in off the post from the left wing side. Assists on Blaszka’s goal went to Pietrantonio and Pargac. For Pietrantonio he is now on an 8-game point streak dating back to last year.   The second period had no scoring but fans in the Fairgrounds Annex still had a lot to cheer about

Thunderbirds Win Round 1 of Unbeaten Battle Vs. Danville   Winston-Salem, N.C. – The Carolina Thunderbirds remain perfect on the season with a 5-2 win over the Danville Dashers on Friday night.     Winston-Salem, N.C. – The Carolina Thunderbirds keep up their perfect record with a pair of third-period goals proving the difference over the Elmira Enforcers Saturday night 3-1.   The Thunderbirds were on the wrong side of the scoreline first when the Elmira Enforcers potted the first goal of the game at the 15:03 mark of the first period.
