Salisbury, Tuesday March 26 at the K&W Cafeteria and King, Thursday, March 28 at Town & Country Restaurant. Special events to honor Vietnam Veterans (Vietnam Veterans Day is March 29).

Veterans Affairs Benefits Director Mark Bilosz and Veterans Affairs Health Asst. Director Ron Maurer will be in attendance to host a special pinning ceremony for Vietnam Veterans.  Commemorative lapel pins and official proclamations will be presented to each Vietnam Veteran.

Winston-Salem, March 29 (Vietnam Veterans Day) 9:00 am – noon.  Trellis Supportive Care campus, 101 Hospice Ln.  A drop by “when you can” event to recognize Vietnam & Vietnam era Veterans.  Starbucks Coffee and Krispy Kreme doughnuts will be served.  Bring any mementoes or memorabilia you would like to share with Trellis staff and other attendees.  All Veterans are welcome.

Welcome, Wednesday, June 5.  A VERY SPECIAL LUNCH to recognize the 75th Anniversary of D-Day and to honor the men and women who fought in WWII.  ALL Veterans are welcome to join us for this meaningful day.  Doors open at 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Mooresville- Richard’s Coffee Shop and Military Museum will be open every day except Sunday.  Thursdays has free coffee for Vets and Saturday is their musical extravaganza.
