Piedmont Wind Symphony cancels upcoming “Road to Freedom” concert

The Piedmont Wind Symphony prioritizes the health and welfare of our patrons, musicians, staff, and larger community.  Due to the ongoing outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, and given the recent recommendations by Gov. Roy Cooper and public health officials to avoid gatherings of more than 100 people, Piedmont Wind Symphony has decided to cancel the upcoming Road to Freedom concert scheduled for March 28th.Ticket buyers have two options—you can request a refund by contacting the Stevens Center Box Office, or you can donate the value of your purchase to the Piedmont Wind Symphony.  Given the anticipated adverse impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on the local arts community, we hope you will choose the latter. The Stevens Center Box Office can be reached at boxoffice@uncsa.edu or by calling 336-721-1945.  Any requests for refunds must be made by April 15th.Piedmont Wind Symphony is grateful for the support of the Triad community, and encourages everyone to follow the recommendations of our public health officials as we traverse this difficult time.
